So dissapointing. I live in england for almost 7 years..always worked or studied, payed my taxes and got a qualification. Now im not able to find work and im not entitled to anything ! Im pregnant and cant get any help at all. Seriously dont know what else to do 😢 ill just have to life off air till i have the baby 👍
@jumpingjellybeans, Yeah hopefully i can sort something out with citizens advice x
This is probably why you are struggling to get benefits because you are living at home?? I'm not sure?? When you speak to citizens advice they hopefully will clear up. Has anyone given you am explanation as to why you aren't entitled?? When I was prg with my first I was homeless had to live with a friend and I couldn't claim anything until I had a dependant! Aka my ds1 and then I was evicted and offered a mother and baby unit where I stayed for 8months until I went back to work and saved enough for a deposit on private letting.
Re: homeless- No I realised that after I'd written it must have been another thread which is why I deleted
@jumpingjellybeans, My boyfriend supports me a lot but obviously i dont want to depend on him. He has his bills to pay. I lost my job right before i got pregnant so it was planned but the circumstances changed unexpectadly. I never mentioned i would be homeless lol i live with my mom but shes struggling aswell :/ and once the baby arrives i can always get a job..x
@elisabetesantos, good luck, fingers crossed for you xx
@turkish.mummy, I will go to citizen advice tomorrow and sort this out 😳
@elisabetesantos, babe im pretty certain that you can appeal the decision that refused to pay you job seekers- technically u r seeking employment
go to citizens advice hun, they should be able to advise you properly and take into consideration your situation and circumstances x
@kamum, its just annoying because so many people that get help dont need it..and who really needs they dont care.. not even a miserable 50£ a week. How did you apply for it ?xx
oh no doll xx this saddens me..hang on there, something will come up..its abit confusing coz i got mine yesterday.
@kamum, No :/ i've contacted them about my options and the only one right know would be working or job seekers...i have been applying for jobs but whos gonna employ a 6 month pregnant woman ?!
sure start pay,is for any first time mummy and, as long as you dont claim any benefits..
@kamum, No .. i can only claim that if im on any sort of benefit and after im 29 weeks :/ x
@elisabetesantos, cant you apply for job seekers?
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
