I don't get it

He hasn't been part of anything anymore he walked away from me and our daughter then now calms she's one of his pride and joys , and people claiming he's going to be a good daddy but nobody knows that he hasn't been around they just see what he has post he hasn't helped me with anything. he can only party and get tattoos not pay me back either and that money was going to go towards an apartment or things for my daughter @sexii_diiva

@alainalovesmommy, I feel what you're going through. My ex chose his music career over his child. He made it clear to me that music was the only thing that ever mattered and that our relationship was meaningless. Now all of a sudden since our child has a definite gender and a name he wants to act all apologetic and weasel his way back into our lives. No way partner. Take your music somewhere else. We're just fine without you. :/

@alainalovesmommy, he can't be a good dad if he never stepped up to take on the responsibilities when the news was given to him. A dad doesn't just show up when it's most convenient. A dad is ALWAYS there through thick and thin no matter what. To me, your ex isn't a dad at all. He's simply the man that got you pregnant.

Well I definitely understand that feeling. I didn't find out my ex was cheating on me until after I got pregnant. We'd been together for a year and I found out a few months ago that he was sleeping around, texting, etc with around three other girls. He kept it all quiet too and I didn't think anything of it. I was working three jobs at the time so I was rarely at our apartment. Smh guys are crummy.

I know mine will be trying everything to see his daughter because he just wants to seem like he's a good dad , he's been to jail multiple times for fighting plus he likes to drink and I can't trust him with his friends . but if you have proof he is an addict and in an unhealthy environment he won't have a chance or at least he better not or they are messed up in the head to give him the rights to bring a child into that @jaspersmama61315

kids need there dad. if he is willing to step up now, let him. sometimes it takes guys a minute to come around. I am not saying be a happy little family with him. at least let her have the opportunity to make up her own mind about the guy. you can always get the DA involved to get child support if he's a dead beat once she's hear!

Oh no worries there at least for my case. I'm friends with a cop and detective on the force here where I live. I've already informed them that my ex and his roommates have ample amounts of weed in their apartment along with cocaine. It's only a matter of time until I call with a complaint and they send the drug dogs in.

hey I get it. my daughter father would much rather drink and party then live up to the responsibilities of being a parent. I have a court order that states if my daughters father drinks in her presence I can come pick her up with a police officer. there are options to keep your child safe. but with Father's rights these days you have to fight fair in the court system, unfortunately

I was never thinking about court until now , because he thinks it's okay to leave when he wants to and come back when she's going to be here . he's already trying to control when he sees her and all that and that's the messed up part because it's not a half ass job as a parent . I want her to have a father but I want her to be able to look up to him and know that's the man she should be with but that's not how her dad is so I hope she will learn when it's that time @soon2bemomof2

I completely agree, and understand were you are coming from. I am fortune enough to have a husband that loves my daughter like his own and is setting a fine example for my daughter of the kind of man she should have in her life. I hope you can find the samething someday, @alainalovesmommy
