Hello ladies! Just wanted to hear your thoughts on one subject. So, what are your opinions on having makeup on before you give birth? I've read that some women who are scheduled for birth have their makeup done and some don't of course. I have never done that with my previous C Sections and then I look horrible in the after pics lol.
@awn0710, Thats sounds like a good idea. Thats all i usually wear, I dont really know how to put on makeup haha
@christy3286, then don't for labor it would be one thing If u were comfortable in it but u hardly were it. and labor needs to be about u and being comfortable. trust me on this no matter how bad u look the pictured that are taken u will love so very much bc of the meaning behind them ur first moments with ur baby. make u is not needed and is to much to worry about
@lilymama, You go girl lol!! I got my nails and toes done already so maybe just alittle eyeline and mascara..maybe lipgloss
@rachel8792, I would imagine that after all the laboring but Im going to have a c section so maybe it will be different
@prego_again, Yea i dont wear makeup everyday...last time i did was on Valentines Day lol
@sophiesmom7, Wow thats amazing lol I wouldnt be able to do that im such a wimp when it comes to pain lol
I personally love doing my makeup. So I'll probably just use some waterproof liner and mascara. And some clean lipgloss and call it a day. I wouldn't do a full face because I'll end up sweating it off. Except in the case of a C section. Then I might put in some BB cream and eye shadow too! But still waterproof eye liner and mascara. There will be many tears!
I've been wondering this too.. I don't want to be a hot mess for my first pictures with baby. haha
I plan on having my hair, makeup, and nails done. Maybe even spray tanned. Lol I'm too much, but this is the most important day of my life and I want to look and feel good.
I actually applied eyeliner and mascara the morning of my induction. I knew there would be pictures immediately after labor. My first pregnancy I didn't have any and I look straight up tired. This time I looked semi descent, but still tired lol. I wouldn't go all out though, but that's my personal preference.
it honestly depends on you. my aunt did her makeup and hair and by the end of having the baby she was all sweaty and her hair was frizzy, and she looked oily from sweating her makeup off basically
Lol I love this idea just cause I know there will be lots of pictures afterwards
@christy3286, I know people think that who cares what you look like. But I care! For sure. I don't wanna look back and see how horrible I looked next to my precious new baby!
