I have my 20 week anatomy ultrasound tomorrow at 1030 and they want me to drink 32 oz of water a hour b4 my appt to ensure a full bladder... Any tricks any of u might know cause i drink a glass and have to go so idk how i can hold 32 oz...

Drink it like 10 to 20 minutes before that should help

I just drank water on the way to the appointment and while I was in the waiting room. They gave me bathroom breaks. I was there for a little over 2 hours so I would have peed myself lol

They told me to expect this appt to last a little over a hour but my OB said its a half hour max so idk what to think none of these ppl seem to know whats going on and they all telling me different things. all i know is full bladder and be there 15 min early haha but 32 seems a lot.

My bladder is so tiny too! It was a huge worry of mine! I literally peed right before I left my house. And drank my water on the way there and while I was waiting to be called into my room. Honestly tho. I drank such little water. I know my bladder wasn't full. I didn't have an urge to pee at all in the beginning and my US was so clear! After 10mins they let me pee!

@awn0710, yes!!! thats my biggest worry plus i feel nauseous like 10 min after i eat or drink so drinking such a huge amount is like scary for me plus not feeling him move im a nervous wreck so its like im over worrying but im a ftm so idk what to think

@landon1002, me too Hun. Play it by ear. Drink a little water. And bring back up! Worst case of they say you need more water just chug some right there in your exam room!

@cherylshaver1018, Im honestly not 100 percent sure cause iv been bumped around and iv been told 3 different things... all ik is they so measurements and gender but i went to a outside place at 15 weeks and found out he is a boy so today will confirm that i guess haha but I can let you know as soon as my appt is done of what they all did.
