I hate being checked for dilation 😓 it's so uncomfortable, specially cause I haven't really dilated 😕

How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol

I been walking this week so hopefully Monday I've dilated some!

Are there any effective ways & things I can do to help soften and dilate my cervix faster? At my appointment my doctor said I was MAYBE a fingertip dilated and 60% effaced.
