what did you do to start your baby on the first step of tasting baby food? how did you get them to like the taste ? we want to let him taste it once a week so we can start it when he's 4 months

When did you mommy's start letting your baby's taste food? Taste is the keyword not eat. I have a west Indian background and we usually start to let our babies taste different foods early after 4 the month mark and then we allow them to start eating foods around month 5.

baby will spit it out at first its ok they don't know how to swallow it so just keep giving it to baby they will eventually swallow it

I introduced my son to baby veggies stage one by making his rice cereal soupy and the I used the baby spoon and put two spoon fulls of baby food in the cereal and he loves any veggie just use one type of veggie a week so u can make sure baby don't have a allergic reaction

lol i just introduced really soupy iron fortified cereal first. then a little at a time thickened the consistency

I was always told it's okay at 4 months but better to wait till 6 months. @caydensmommy

if she didn't like something, i would just try it again a week or two later. their taste buds change over time. and sometimes it's just a shock in regards to flavor

i waited until 6 months. breast milk or formula is all a baby needs until then. their digestive tracts need to mature, otherwise there will be many upset tummies lol
