any of you mama's been with your baby's father for over 4 years and still not married? I just feel…

I was with my kids father for 7 yrs we recently seperated we were never married but we're trying to see if it's fixable I gave him an ultimatum if he wants me back then I wanna get married if he doesn't then I need to move on I want someone who wants the same thing I do and I want marriage

and we have a 4yr old and currently waiting for another baby due in July I always said I wanted to be married by my 2nd but obviously that didn't happen

Yea I just feel like I been with him for 4 and a half years now I lived with him for 3 and a half years we have a 3 year old and a newborn . I want marriage too but he says that he is waiting for when the Time right but I feel like that's just an excuse. it bothers me because his sister is getting married in December and me and my boyfriend been together twice as long as them. I don't know I just feel like I'm not special enough to get married to.

never think that you're not special enough sometimes people don't want the same things but if he's being honest and saying it's not the right time give it time but if he's just saying that to give u false hope that isn't right either maybe you guys can come to compromise that'll make the both of you happy

I've been with my SO for almost 5 years and we have a almost 3 year old and I'm pregnant now...I feel the same but then again I know he's focused on making sure our family is good before we get married but yes he has until next year seriously cus I don't wanna be with someone for tons of years and still get no ring! He's gonna be a great husband cus he does everything for me and our family so idk what he's waiting on

I mean when I finally just forget about marriage at least for now He brings it up and I get my hopes up and nothing. he tell me things like he's going to ask me soon or he has a surprise and then nothing it's like false hopes you know. we don't argue and we have a loan on a car together and a joined bank account it's Like we're married just not official. I mean I totally understand the money situation with kids it's a little harder but just because we're engaged doesn't mean we have to get married right away. we can wait another year you know. I just feel like don't tell me your going to marry me and then never do it you know?

Ive been with mine for 5 years and were getting married this November. We actually got engaged almost 2 years ago, but my brother is in the service and overseas and he is one of the most important people in my life so we put off our wedding until he could be there.

I'm going to be 20 in June. he was with me at 19 and is now 23 about to be 24. so are financial situation we have gone through together already. plus I mean we have a car loan together an apartment together and a bank account together.
