Ok I need help I'm starting to switch my son to formula because I'm not producing enough milk but I still do give him breast milk when I can get enough out anyways I gave him enfmil and he drank it but it messed up his tummy did the pain cry for hour at a night couldn't poop for 5-6 days so I switched him to gerber good start and he fights to take it but he poops every other day and barley crys so how can I get him to drink it better

Ya that's why he's now on gerber and it's hard to get him to eat it but he's getting better but the only similac he can try is alamentum and that's 35 dollars for a small can @kelseys
oh that sucks, I believe enfimil has the same product if he isn't allergic to that brand.
He can't have any similac produces cause of his allergies @kelseys

I pump and give it to him throw a bottle he don't latch and I have to pump about every 6 hours just to get 4 oz out @alicia3_21
how do you know u aren't producing enough? I'm wondering if I'm having that problem. he eats for like hours straight. like today since 11 besides 1 20 min nap he has been nursing. and I broke down and have him 3 ounces of formula.
That messes with him to the only thing I can think of is putting him on alamentum if I can't get him use to this that's the only one my first son could have doc said they have alleges to something in them that's why he told me to try gerber @mdomke22
try Similac sensitive. orange can. my daughter had the same problem until i put her on that
Ya I tried the gas drops it don't work but the gerber does wonders for him so I'm really trying to get him to like it he's 7 weeks now @heather_95
I drink a gallon a day take fenugreek tried mother milk and everything else u can do the laction lady told me some times a persons body just not ment for it so I'm need to know how to get him to like the only formula his tummy likes
Sophia does breast and formula (Enfamil gentlease) she had trouble at first but I would mix an ounce of Apple juice with her 3 oz of water (total 4 oz) then do the formula if just that didn't do it I'd give her gas drops now her tummy has adjusted to both so she doesn't get constipated it took about a month to adjust
do you drink a lot of water? if you aren't drinking enough water, you won't produce a lot of breast milk. my sis had the same issue
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
Hmm just fed my baby 4oz and he kept crying and sucking in his thumb after. So I fixed him two more ounces. Guess he is ready to start getting more 🤷🏻♀️

My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?
