Yeah some docs will do it though if it's not for a medical reason. I'm not against being induced but it's not something I would like for myself.

I was just thinking the same thing! If women are over due doesn't it just mean the due date was off!

for me my BP has been on the rise and i have gd. therefor I will be induced anywhere from 37 weeks to 39 weeks depending on what my drs say.

Some doctors (like mine) don't like for the babies to over bake because they're full term by 37 weeks and the last few weeks they're just fatting up! And she told me if she stay in there to long labor would be harder on me and they can get cone head but I have a small figure and they're gunna let me try naturally but I might end up having a c section. My doctor will induce me at 39 weeks. It's not a bad thing to be induced after 37 weeks tho, and most only induce at 39 or 40

my doctor said it's illegal to induce before 39 weeks unless it's a medical reason in my state (ga)
