question.....what are some reasons why some women get induced early? like 34 weeks or whatever....can I ask to be…

@hooper14, aww thar would be cool if they did for yalls anniversary..how romantic :) Yes I agree..I keep asking the tech everytime I go and he measures big but she says that he rarely ever changes the DD cause tge earlier ones are the most accurate..I understand that but I mean who knew he would be so big and measure in so ahead...I will definetly ask this week :)

I understand what your asking. Our little one is measuring a week to a week in a half bigger. So I asked if I could be induced 3 days before I turned 39 weeks, just because it's our anniversary. Lol (my doc induces everyone at 39 weeks an rarely lets u go over 40) an he said the hospital will not let him unless we HAD to! But with 3 week, I feel like they should have changed your due date. Lol

I was induced for constant contractions at 37.5

@rcdonjuan, Thanks and this was my first time ever hearing about a placenta previa. I asked the doctor if there were something I could of done to prevent it and he told me no so I just been doing research on it so I could understand it better. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

@rcdonjuan, thats good to hear and I hope she does too because it sucks from going to bonsing with them everyday for. 8 1/2 months to coming home without them and without your belly and feeling there every move. I cry everyday when I come home because I miss her

@babydavis915, im sorry to hear that...im so clueless on conditions like that..I always want to learn new things though and situations some woman are having to go through..I wish we could all have a healthy pregnancy...I hope all goes well for u and ur little one :)

Yes I was in the hospital when I was 28 weeks 3cm dilated and 50% effaced they gave me a shot to develop her lungs early but they also gave me a pill to take to stop labor. Well several time my daughter heart rate would drop to the 80's and they came in and told me they may have to do an emergency c-section but they want to try and keep her in until she's at least 32 or 34 weeks and I was induced with my son at 37 weeks because everytime I would lay on my back his heart rate would drop so both reason were for the health of the baby as to why

I may have my baby at 34 Weeks because I have a complete placenta previa which causes bleeding. It could be earlier than that if I continue to have heavy bleeding.

@phasion, thats what I was wanting was to have my baby full term 40 weeks atleast...he's just growing so big and fast right now I wasnt sure if he would come early or not

@rcdonjuan, most doctors won't unless its medically needed. I wouldn't recommend it because I had my little girl at 34.weeks on mothers day and she is in the nicu and its the hardest thing I have had to go through. moat hospitals wont discharge babies who are born under 36 weeks. I wish she would have stayed in my womb a little while longer because this wait to bring her home is killing me. I know the wait to meet your baby seems forever long and you are probably uncomfortable but I promise you that your baby will be here before you know it just be patient :)

@crunchymomma, I dont think ima have my baby early unless he keeps growing like he is...he's 3weeks ahead right now but I go this thursday for an ultrasound to see if he still is...my doctor doesnt ask like he's gonna move up my due date though :)

34weeks the baby is still baking a fully developed baby is between 38-42 weeks besides you wouldn't want to be induce and they wouldn't allow you to be induce unless it's something wrong .

I don't think they'd induce you that early unless there was a medical reason. Due dates can be off, a 32 week baby (normally) would have a harder time outside of the womb than a 34 week old.

Your baby could be in distress something could be going on that would affect you and the baby's health a doctor won't induce you unless it medically necessary from my understanding
