I work with two other girls who are pregnant. So, there are three of us running around usually. Yesterday, I had two girls (while we were talking..) reach out and rub my belly. They said, "you're our favorite pregnant girl, because you're not rude and hateful about having your tummy touched!". And it got me thinking: I don't mind AT ALL when people touch my belly. It's a super cool thing that's happening in there, and the movements are incredible! I love to share it with whomever I can. But, why are so people so pissy about having their bellies touched? One girl even wore a shirt that said, "hands off my bump.". Like, really? Why be so grumpy?

I didn't like it because I'm a germaphobe and I don't know where their hands have been or whether they wash them or not. yuck. and I just don't like being touched, especially by people i barely know. it's not because I'm grumpy, it's just.. weird to me?

I dont understand that either..I like when people run my belly but it doesnt happen often...theres one friends of ours that always wants to when he sees me but thata about it...maybe I should buy a shirt that says rub my belly!!! lol :-)

Nobody's really rubbed my belly. my little niece, little sis, and baby brother are the ones who usually rub my belly. and my husband ofcourse. other than that, yeah. I don't see what the big deal is. I wish more people would rub my Buddha belly.

i dont like people touching me in general XD ppl never tried cuz i have a resting bitch face, alot of people are introverts and avoid social contact.

I hated it at 15, at school random ppl would always come up to me and rub my belly. But I was young. With my two yr old and this time around I was okay with it and enjoyed it

My fiancée was the only one allowed to touch my belly ...I hate being touched in general like I don't even hug most of my friends only really close friends and family

I didn't mind my family or friends touch my belly but people I don't know yea not gonna happen but I wasn't grumpy I just didnt like strange folks rubbing my belly I'm not a puppy lol

I actually hated if someone touched my tummy, specially without asking and rubbing my tummy. Its not like I go and rub ppls tummy without asking so why do they have the right to do that. But I guess its different for everyone. There was even couple of times that men came and rubbed my tummy... And I know them only cuz our kids go in same school.

And also during 30weeks tummy was very sensitive...so the last thing I wanted someone make it feel even worse by rubbing it.
