Awkward question, but what does your cervix feel like during pregnancy? My cervix is high and closed

I checked mine when I was ttc. I can't remember right when I found out what it was like. For some reason I think it was low an open. I'm 34 weeks an I can feel mine, but I'm posterior, but it's soft an open.
