So about 3 days ago, I lost what I think was a chunk of my mucus plug. I wiped once, had some spotting, and then wiped again and there was some of the mucus plug. That day and the next day I had cramping and braxton hicks off and on. And yesterday I didnt have any braxton hicks, but I had a little cramping, and hip/back aches, all of which got better once I laid down in bed. Now today, no cramps but my back aches a little again:/ Something to worry about? Or am I just being paranoid? I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow btw.

When it falls out it also means your cervix is starting to soften and possibly dilate :)
@lajo, but i hadnt had sex for a few weeks before i lost my plug (my libido has plummeted), and they havent done a pelvic exam of any sort since the first trimester.
You def lost your mucus plug. Could be from having sex or a recent exam where they checked you.
I have basically the same story only I lost mine last night. A big ol chunk. Cramped and BH all morning long and diarrhea (sorry 5 tmi) but now nothing's really happening.

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own?
