Making a blanket for our baby girl :)on the day I was born my great grandmother brought me a baby blanket that she crocheted for me. I cherished it all my life and even now as an adult while of course it's to small I still have it in my room and plan to let our daughter use it too. But I want her to have a special blanket. My GG made them for all the babies in our family. Unfortunately she has passed away and neither of my grandmother's knew how to do it or wished to learn. So I did :) Started a pink/ivory/purple/ teal blanket last night. I love crocheting and I'm so glad I'll be able to give this to our baby

I've never tried knitting. I wanna start with the arm knit blankets but idk if that would be harder.

i took a quilting class back in high school and love it so much! its actually really fun! I've tried knitting but its harder on my carpal tunnel syndrome and i prefer to crochet. @bbyenolan22

It's so much fun! I want to get into quilting but I haven't yet same for knitting lol. there's so many projects I want to do so I gotta learn them all lol @momofsolaris

lol yeah I think I made it a little too big [I have a habit of making them too small so I wanted it bigger and think I missed the mark lol] but I think it'll be OK :) I'll post pictures when it's more complete
just be careful starting out I made a baby blanket it's big enough for a twin sized bed. lol but I love it anyways I'm gonna use it for the rocker in her room then when she's bigger it'll be perfect
