I'm not doing Castro oil for the reason of it can make the baby poop inside of you. A safer option that I'm looking into is the evening primrose oil. You put like 2-3 in your vag. An take some by mouth. I've also been drinking red raspberry leaf tea. It helps get everything ready.

@phasion, lol no ew. and the doctor said I can have her safely at anytime right now but I don't wanna rush her and end up with her being sick or in the nicu

2 oz I think. That's what she took. Mix it with orange juice. I'll be 37 weeks in 2 days but am a little nervous on trying it@phasion

Yeah its supposed to help constipation and bring on bowel contractions which is supposed to trigger uterine contractions. My friend knows someone that took it the other day when she was almost 37 weeks and she went into labor 5 hours later @phasion

@phasion, it's supposed to start labor. I think it only works if your body is ready.

What does castor oil do?

I would wait till your due. .. I know a few moms who took it before only to end up only "cleaning out their system" I took it when I was one week over and it worked after two hrs
