My mother in law keeps asking if we are going to Co-sleep for the first few weeks and I'm scared to…

I Co sleep with my son. He's about to be 2 months. as long as you have enough room to were you won't smash your baby your fine

they say you the baby should sleep in the same room with you for the first few weeks. it doesn't have to be the same bed though. my daughter slept in her own bed for the first night but we co sleep almost every night besides when my boyfriend sleep over. i just leave space between us so we have space to turn without touching each other

I started co sleeping in the hospital.

I co sleep still every now and again he is 4 months old, but I started co sleeping after he was a week old cause I couldn't hear him if he was in my bed I would feel him move and it'd wake me up.

Sleep in the same room yes but NOT in the same bed! Unless you have a bed attachment it's very dangerous to have a little baby in bed with you. Most girls think they'll wake up or feel the baby moving in the bed but that isn't always the case. You're so tired those first few months of being a mommy and when you do sleep, you sleep hard! I accidentally almost rolled over on my son when he was a few weeks old, thankfully my husband was awake and stopped it. That's the last night he ever slept with us...until now but he's a toddler now. We would then either put him in a bassinet or his swing. Babies usually love sleeping in swings or rock n plays. Just be careful :) I do recommend the baby be in the room with you for the first three months though, that's the newborn stage and they also call it the "fourth trimester" because the baby needs to be closr to you.

We bought a bassinet so Aria can sleep in our bedroom just not in our bed.
