I heard that by law they can't test for drugs it's only for the glucose testing itself.

We all make mistakes and I'm pretty sure that everyone has tried something that they know it was wrong at some point in their lives so from my part I won't judge or question you 😊 I really don't know if there is a way for you to get it out of your system that quick . I know that it stays in your pee for 30 days but it stays in your blood for 6 months or so I've heard .

My biggest problem is in the area I live in dcf will take kids away from parents who smoke weed. I don't want to be caught with it in my system

it should be gone before the 30days. Weed stores to your fat cells and also this is your first time smoking. drink water, drink water, and drink water it will help flush it out .. but I don't think u should have any worries.

Don't listen to the negative. If you've never smoked weed won't stay in your system for 30 days. They can't drug test you without your consent and your child will be fine.

lol at some of these peoples comments. Some people aren't educated enough. its ok. anyway, I smoke it, I have a bong that I use. I have arthritis from an injury to my pelvis. The pain is exccruciating to deal with If I don't take something. I decided on weed instead of all the pills my Dr was trying to prescribe me, He was prescribing three different pain killers. I told him I rather smoke weed. He advised against it but said if i chose to, to stick to the cleanest method, which is out of a pipe, bong or vaporizer. it's the only thing that has helped. It didn't show up in my glucose test. not that I minded since I was honest with my dr and he found my reasons to be legit. I don't go off smoking iy all the time. i try other methods to help relieve my pain, I even took some Traditional Chinese Medicine courses. Learned about pressure points so that helps. but when it gets so bad I do go smoke :)

you'll be fine. just drink lots of water. for a one time smoke it should only be in your system for no longer than 12 days (very estimated but since you don't do it often i highly doubt it'd be longer) one of my friends smoked through her second trimester for nausea and her son is 6 and has always been very healthy.

Yeah from what I've read it takes weeks. PS - maybe don't take advice from a man who hasn't been pregnant! It doesn't sound like he's looking out for you or the baby :(. Good luck 🍀

no one should knock you for it, at least you said you didn't like it and you made the decision to not do it again, just drink lots of water and make sure when you brush in the morning to use Listerine I tried it before I had kids and I didn't like it neither and will never ever go back but at least you learned from your experience @aprilcgutkopf

My boyfriend smokes it a lot and he said I could drink a lot of water and flush it out of my system. I did it yesterday after my ob appointment and don't have to go in for the glucose test for 4 weeks.

Just drink lots of water and lots of antioxidants helps clean you system too . Like Arizona green tea with ginseng and honey has antioxidants .

I just wanted to try it @jjmmom2110 I am not a bad mother bc I wanted to try something. I don't like it and never again will do it. It did help with my back pain but no I won't do it again.

It shouldn't affect the test or anything hon. How long ago was it? And does your doctor test for it in your blood or something?
