How many of you had your family hate the name you picked out for you baby ? No one liked my sons name but then again I didn't really tell anybody until my 9th month because they can be judgmental!! My hubby and everyone else hates the name but it's the only name I've loved from the beginning of this pregnancy and it's kinda hurtful every time I bring it up everyone's like ughhhhhh do not name her that! What do I do? A part of me is like kiss my ass and the other part makes me wanna change it because they don't like it and Its the first granddaughter on both sides of the family!

It's your daughter! You can name her whatever you'd like. My MIL doesn't like the name my fiancé and I have picked out for our baby but idc lol it's not her choice

If hubby doesn't like it I would try and come to a name that you both would like but I would care much about the opinions of the other family members .

my mom hates all of her grandkids names. but in all reality she says its up to us as the parents. She asked if She can call my little girl by her middle name because she hates the first name So much. lol oh well

my family tries to change her name. I'm naming her Sadie grace. but my mil calls her Sadie Lee which I hate it's like their family middle name. and a lot of people just call her grace and she's not even here yet. but I'm keeping Sadie grace

My family will hate my daughter's name and I couldn't care less. My baby, my choice. They didn't like my twins names and gave them nicknames or use their middle names. Whatever. I put a lot of time, prayers, and thought behind each name my children have. No one has to like it.

No one in my family likes my son's name (I made it up) until after he was born and they saw him and heard me call him by his name. It's your decision, not theirs. They can call your child by a nickname if they can't stand the name for whatever reason.
