I completely understand. No one wants to hear that something is wrong with their baby.

Yeahh shes just really overwhelming being worried about her baby

They say about 1/3 of them will have a heart defect but not always. I don't understand why the doctor would tell her to terminate but they do with a lot of syndromes. My daughter's friend is not delayed at all mentally. I would tell her to find support groups too.

Tell her to do lots of research. I don't know the severity of your friends baby but kids with Turners can often lead fairly normal lives. I know my friends daughter's heart had several defects so they had to correct it.

Yeahh she is worried bc her doctor told her its best to terminate the pregnancy! But she refuses to and just needs positive help!!

She leads a pretty normal life though. There isn't anything she can't do.

My friends daughter has it. She is 13 now. Had open heart surgery after birth. She is the sweetest girl and is smart. Has had health problems such as high blood pressure and kidney problems recently but is doing fine now. With Turners they can't have children either due to the chromosome abnormality and are usually growth restricted.
