I always felt bad trying to eat while feeding my child.. I never wanted to get crumbs in his hair! Lol. Newborns are overwhelming and mom gets put on the back burner. Just because the kid naps for an hour doesn't always mean you get to nap for an hour when there's dishes to do, or a room to clean, laundry to do, wash bottles if you're bottle feeding... You might be lucky to get a few hours of sleep at night but sometimes you'll lay awake watching your little one breathe, and when you pass out that's when they wake up. Or poop. It never fails. And people really don't listen to the "sleep before the baby is born" thing. I didn't! I wish I had slept more! && now this momma is on the pregnancy ride again.

agreed! if I could do it again I wouldn't leave my bed for the last two weeks.

@kimberlyyyy, lol yeah impossible to eat while they do! It's a mission and people say to sleep at night even tho they're not.. How! U have to feed them every 2 hours and constantly change their diapers! I use bottles too because I pump all day because too much milk comes in and it hurts!! I don't just wash.. I sterilize after each use so that takes time for everything all together all day. Plus he's super attached to me for some reason. He won't even go to my parents. He screams mom or ma and he's only 2 months old! It's just amazing! I wishhhh I listened to mommies saying to sleep more before giving birth. I tried but I had pregnancy insomnia and literally would be up until 5am! Omg so this is your second baby??

May God give you rest! Every baby is diff, cause I didn't go through any of that with my 1st. Crossing my fingers I don't with my 2nd! Lol. Maybe you can try putting em on a schedule? And having designated times for chores, if you don't get it done today there's always tomorrow! Don't stress yourself out mama, it will get better!!

@mamabluez, you can't really put a newborn on a schedule but u do have to put them on a feeding schedule so u had to have fed him very often that includes at night as well. It also helps when u have a huge helping hand. I'm raising my son on my own. U make it sound easy lol reality is its not. It's not a toy. Gta be hands on at any given moment

I never tried putting my son on a schedule. It was up to him when he was hungry & tired. And I went through my entire pregnancy and the first 8 months all on my own before my now fiancé moved out here to be with us. My son didn't sleep though the night until he was a year old. It was pretty rough. Yep, this will be my second baby. I'm dealing with morning sickness which I never had with my son so I'm hoping this rough pregnancy will result in an easy baby. lol.

@kimberlyyyy, oh ok! I'm following what the doctor instructed me to.ulol ahh I wish it worked that way. I threw up everyday multiple times a day all 9 months and had high bp and preeclampsia! 😩😫 and 36 hour labor no pain meds lol just as painful as it can get! Let's hope the opposite effect works on u! Prayers sent your way! Good luckkkk. It'll be a while until I have baby number 2! Lol

I agree!!! and Omg my son is 3 WEEKS old and just wants to eat all the time. I'm a walking Paci lol I usually don't even have enough time to pump do to him eating all the time
