I had a dream where someone asked me what the best part of being pregnant was and my answer was this:
The best part is feeling my son move every day, as painful as it can get, I know that he is active and alive with every movement. With every kick I know he is as God intended him to be. I have grown this human within my womb, this beautiful defenseless child, to whom I get to take care of for the rest of my existence. That is the best part of being pregnant.
I cried just thinking about it. I'm blessed to be called Mama. 33 days to go!!

Awwww that's so sweet!! I can relate. It's so breathtaking to know and feel that little "good morning mommy" or that "you're laying on me mommy" kick. Hahahha I'm so over the moon.

@trezelle, I get to thinking how much my ex is missing out on too. He demanded I get an abortion when I told him I was pregnant. He's been nothing but selfish this entire pregnancy and back in December I called it quits with him. Now he wants to come around when it's convenient for him because our child has a definite sex and a name. No way! My ex has missed out on so much and will only continue to miss out on the beauty of this child because of his selfishness. I thank God ever day for the opportunity and ability to carry this little man. I can't wait to hold him and raise him to be a God fearing and respectable man :).

@jaspersmama61315, ohhhh honey I can relate! I broke up with my ex in January because he stressed me out way to much. He says he wants to be apart of the babies life and I'm not going to exclude him out of baby stuff but as far as my personal life he has no say. He is a grown man (33) and acts like a teenager. He blames everyone for his life's fuckups but himself. He did tell me to abort the baby. And at one point even threatened to drive where I am and drag me to the Dr "so they can suck the little shit out"... Yea.

@trezelle, wow!!! I completely understand what you're going through. I tried to give my ex the space, that's when I found out he was actually cheating on me while we were exclusively dating. Now he has a new fuck buddy and I'll be damned if I allow my son to grow up in that environment. My ex is a story teller. He will sugar coat everything just to make people around him feel better. He never tells the truth. I don't want my son to grow up with those destructive qualities. The upside for me was I was the only one with a car, and my ex was always too stoned to remember where I lived although he was always over at my house. Smh. My little guy deserves better. :)

@jaspersmama61315, omg why I feel like we're living almost identical lives. Smh that's a crazy thing when someone can sell you a story so believable you take it as the truth. I wouldn't consider myself gullible but I drank every story he ever told me, even about himself, his Anika and his exes.... Then everytime he said the story again I'd realize he made something up the last time he said it... Till to the point where his words held no credibility in my heart or eyes... He made me buy a faulty car (which I'm still dealing with right now), because he lied and told me he knew about cars. Smh girl the list goes on. I really do hope you find a Prince Charming to sweep you off your feet and give you that eternal love, support and peace of mind that you and your little man deserve!
