your baby is perfectly fine. I'm going to school for x-ray tech and the only parts that get the rays is the Area where the light was

I am an X-ray/ct tech and that's not true @mdomke22 there is scatter radiation that extends past the field of light however your waist should have been shielded id hope and also one chest X-ray is very minimal radiation your baby should be just fine! Just keep it to a minimum

it scatters yes but not a significant amount to harm your baby.... they always cover your pelvis/repr oductive area anyways so you are fine hun :)

It's fine. I needed multiple X-rays with my last baby because I dislocated my patella at 30 weeks and they had to check several times to make sure I had no bone fragments floating around.

@linyeah they put a lead skirt on me but it was kinda big on me and I think it hung below my waist :\

Yeah no need to worry @ms rguerite_1990 your baby is gonna be just fine! One chest X-ray is very little radiation... Not gonna harm the babe :)
