so expecting mommas..what are your beauty routines? I'm trying to go chemical free so I've been no-pooing with a baking soda and water solution and apple cider vinegar and water to replace shampoo and conditioner works amazingly well ... for my face I've been trying a lemon and baking soda mask and lemon juice as a toner b4 bed. any recommendations?
@egordon14, as a pp mentioned above yes baking soda isn't good when over used but my routine is once a week I use a baking soda mixed with fresh lemon juice, so you want a lose paste to form I'd say mb 4 drops of lemon juice to a tablespoon of b.s..you eye ball it so its a lose paste a bit runny , you take that and apply to your face, if you have sensitive skin I wouldn't recommend as a mask just as a scrub but I let it sit till it dries and hardens then I wash with cool towards warm water no soap needed. then I proceed to put a few more drops of lemon juice on a cotton ball and apply all over specially on the prob areas, this help to close pores and dey out any acne. the lemon juice on the cotton ball I do on a nightly basis but the banking soda just once a week usually Sunday to get my week ready for the week. be advised you need to wear sunscreen on a daily basis.
@gabrielafrnqyepez, tell me more about your face routine! My little girl in my belly is stealing my beauty already lol😝 I'm needing new ideas for face washes and/or masks!
Have you looked into Aveda? Vinegar is really bad for your hair. As well as baking soda on your face. It strips too much oil and the baking soda strips too much skin off your face. I would say look into Aveda or another organic hair skin and body line. Only thing I know is avocado is good for your skin.
@walden lolzz that's y I'm looking for suggestions the mask is very time consuming so I'm being lazy!
@gabrielafrnqyepez, awesome thank you so much!!! I will have to give this a try! :-)
