I wish that I could actually enjoy mothers day.... this is my second mothers day (I don't count it as my 3rd cause I was pregnant in 2013) and I've never gotten breakfast made for me, a gift, nothing. last year my boyfriend picked up a cheap card that said "to my mother" and forgot to even sign it for my daughter.... this morning I get up and change paisley, make coffee and make breakfast and i cleaned the kitchen and fed paisley breakfast and cleaned her up, then 9 mins before Alex's shift starts he gets out of bed, gets clothes on and leaves. looks like I get to eat breakfast and drink my coffee alone.

I told him "thanks for getting up for once and showing me you appreciate all I do as a mother to our kids." and he didn't say shit.

I just want to cry myself to sleep. I'm so tired of this...

but happy mothers day to all you ladies! hope your day is better than mine lol.

@juliagail09, it ended up being an OK day. I went and visited my mom and she bbqed for all of us, but my siblings wouldn't help her clean and she kept crying cause she was so exhausted and wanted to sleep so I told her to go to bed and I'll take care of it. and I spent 5 hours cleaning her house then had to come home and clean mine while my boyfriend sat on his ass. he said he would rub my feet for mothers day and he did it for like 3 mins and only one foot so that pretty much sucked. but oh well... nothing new. we're like not even official. he wants to be together cause I do everything for him, but I don't wanna be together cause he's a prick.
