I'm pregnant with baby number 6. my water broke for baby number 5. and milk comes in a.few.days after birth. colostrum is what you make while pregnant till milk comes in.

my water never broke with my son either. I was only 15 when I had him an everything is so different now an I am 26 an I am just so curious haha

Milk doesn't usually come in until a few days after delivery, you can lose your mucus plug anytime really, it doesn't mean you're going into labor though and for me my water never broke on it's own, and I went into labor at 39w1d.
