My family life was pretty messed up while I was growing up. It is what it is and honestly it's not something I dwell on now much now as an adult. However sometimes I do. Like today. And when I do so many what ifs pop into my head. I cant help but wonder what life would have been with parents or without abuse or without raising someone else when I was a kid. I know there is no "normal" family and I know what ifs are pointless. But sometimes I just wonder how things would be different now. I'm happy to be the person I am. I really feel like I made the best of my situation and that's all I can ask. But oh how I wonder
