That whole red line is the implant and according to my boyfriend who watched it get put in they put a needle with a big hole in and lift your skin. So I'm assuming that's why it's so bruised looking. And that red is the iodine stuff not blood ;) @regelbaby

Nexplanon also know as implanon is an arm implant that last 3 years. The only part that hurt was the numbing shot and after that wears off it just feels like a sore muscle. It hurts when it gets touched or bumped right now but that's it... So far I love it and I'm glad I'm not taking a pill anymore or getting shots every 3 months! :) @laura_love @kiicarnelly @irisedith

Wow. I'm curious to, about the pain. Did it hurt when you got it. I'm waiting to hear from my dr to see if insurance covers it.

Mine looked about the same but never hurt.

When I got blood done the last time, I almost went to the ER because my arm was so swollen and bruised and I was terrified something was wrong lol

Mine was sore yesterday @amber.s95 but it only felt like a sore muscle :)
