Is it weird that they only took 1 vile of blood from me to A. Confirm My Pregnancy B. See how high my HcG levels are to see how far along I am & C. To make sure the pregnancy is healthy?! Everyone has been telling me that they usually take 3,4,5 viles of blood!
Ladies that are 30-35 & are having their 1st baby, message me!! I'm curious to see how many FTM's are in my age group! I'm 30, will be 31 next month. This is my first pregnancy and hopefully first baby ?? We want at least 2 children but don't want to be too much older before we try again, hoping for another successful pregnancy w/in 1-2 years after the birth of our baby girl!!
So Dr has sent me in to do labs because I mentioned to him how itchy I’ve been these last couple of days. Any other moms gone through this before? He mentioned if something came up in my blood we’d have to do my section sooner than what it is scheduled for.

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what everyone else thinks or what a doctor tells you trust your body you know your body better than a blood test and a pee test and god will lead you to the right path

Yes that's what it is. Plus my OB is new to me so I think that's why he ordered everything at once. My last OB did the same but later because I had seen her prior to getting pregnant. Plus my new OB was seeing me because I was sick and we just decided to merge that appointment with my first real OB appointment. Either way I'm sure things are fine! I hate needles so I much rather I get stuck once for a lot of blood then get stuck multiple times

@thencomesbabyj, when I had my son they did all those test and I've only had 1 sexual partner as in my husband.. So maybe that's why she's not doing it OR she will do it once she sees how far along I am.. I haven't had an appointment with her yet she just ordered a blood test so when they do call me to make the appointment she can tell me everything in the appointment..

They took like 5 from me but they did HIV test, HCG and some other precautionary test as well. Depends on your doc. They might do those next time u go.
