What's wrong with my kids?
My 6 month old cries constantly. He has a horrible cough and his chest is so congested. I've taken him to the doctor multiple times, 3 times in one week! He never sleeps. He acts hungry but fights me when I try to feed him. My two year old was never sick so this is pretty much my first time dealing with anything like this.
My two year old is just as congested, has a runny nose, really bad cough, blistered lips, and poor appetite. He gets fevers at night (101.7 this time) and he wakes up crying almost as much as his brother. He also has these sores on his back that will not heal. They've been there since last summer.
I'm exhausted. Physically and emotionally exhausted. I haven't slept in weeks. I start a new job on Monday. Their doctor isn't doing anything and I can't keep seeing them this sick. I try breathing treatments daily with no positive results and I give medicine. Please, give me some advice or answers.

Thank you ladies. I'm going to give the nurses triage a call. Both of the boys just fell asleep so I'm going to let them rest a little bit. I'll update everyone tomorrow.

definitely take them to the ER and not their pediatrician. I wouldn't wait any longer either. my daughter is 8 months and for the past few nights she's been sleeping horribly ( barely sleeping at night) she can't breathe threw her nose, has a really horrible cough, and has thick yellow mucus coming from her nose and a fever a few times. I took her to the doctors today and she has allergies, a cold, and she's teething all at once. So it might be allergies.
@lovemymonsters22, That's why you should take them to the er and find them another doctor. I hate when doctors do an half ass job
@babydavis915, I don't think the sores have anything to do with the coughing but it just concerns me. @mommytwobe have you had any experience with that?

bronchitis is nothing like that....bronchitis affects the lungs...I have had bronchitis since was small and I have never had sores show up....I agree with the other mothers take them to the er and better yet find them another doctor. @lovemymonsters22
They definitely need to go to the ER so they hospital can get an idea of what it might be and refer you to a specialist for them! Praying for them! And you mamma!
Definitely not chicken pox. I'm sure of that. Their doctor keeps saying its some form of bronchitis and takes weeks to months to clear up, but he did not give me any medication for them and I just don't think it's ok for them to be this sick every days for "months".
can i see a pic of the sores? it sounds like chicken pox but im not a doctor
Both of them need to go to the er. its not healthy for neither one of them. it has to be some doctor that will help them.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Update- We went to the doctor today and they tried giving him a breathing treatment. We have a nebulizer at home so o knew that wouldn't help. When that didn't work, they sent us to Vandy and had a chest x-ray done. His x-ray showed he just had signs of bronchitis but what they were concerned about was that his trachea is too narrow. Because of that, it makes his throat close more when he's sick and that's causing the breathing issues. We are seeing a pulmonary specialist next week and will have more information. Anyone have babies with a narrow trachea?
