It takes a lot of effort to pump in that way the same effort like breastfeeding but if you aren't up for nursing and wanting baby to have your milk definitely pump. Most insurance companies will send you a free breastpump with free shipping now. I got a medela pump worth $220 for free mailed right to my door.

I exclusively pump and I've got an oversupply ☺️ also you could feed from one side and pump the other that way you don't have to deal with formula...many babies have issues with different formulas so it ends up being a game of let's try this formula or that formula...some people get lucky on the first try but others end up trying almost every formula made before finding the right one plus pumping will help you keep your supply up on the times when baby isn't feeding cause if you don't use your breast milk (pumping or baby eating) you'll eventually loose it...the more you pump/feed the more milk you'll have ☺️

@melly777111, exclusively breastfeeding is when baby just receives your milk and nothing else. Formula and breast milk is when you give them both at different feeding times.

Just pump & store your milk so other people can feed your baby too. I'm doing it just so my boyfriend can feed ours.
