I was the same way and I'm in the medical field so of coarse my mind wondered to the worse possible scenerio. You just want to make sure that if your water breaks you let the hospital staff know that you tested positive for it so they can start antibiotics right away to decrease the chances of transmission to the baby. if it's a section then the only thing my Ob said that would be of any concern would be the incision getting infected but baby should be fine and the antibiotics will help from incision getting infected

I had it as well, the antibiotics burn unless they drop the saline stuff at the same time .. Atleast mine did

It's a bacteria that grown in the vagina im hearing it's very common it's does not usually ever harm moms but can be harmful to the baby when being born @elenaj

Yea as long as you get the antibiotics you will be fine

a lot of woman have strep b. you just have to get iv antibiotics when you go into labor for the baby's safety. the baby will be oaky.
