HELP!!! HAVE ANY OTHER MOMMIES HAD A BABY WHO'S LUNGS WERENT FULLY DEVELOPED????? WHAT HAPPENED?

@gillianamy, that's great then I would estimate 4 days depending how well she progresses. prayers for your baby.

@samanthasgunnapop, she has no problem eating. she fed before they took her to examine her. the only issue she has is her lungs. everything else is fine

My sub was born at 35 weeks his lungs weren't fully developed and he spent 2 weeks in NICU but also teaching him to eat. His lungs developed fully in like 4 days. But we went another week in there learning how to suck :/ @gillianamy

Yes. NICU for 2 weeks.

@steph11, I was at 38 weeks but when they did the ultrasound yesterday they said she measured at around 36 weeks

was she born early?

umm he was in the nicu for only like 2 weeks I think before his other lung developed he did have some serious asthma. but he still used to play sports and everything but once his lung developed he doesn't have a problem with it. and good luck to your baby girl

@steph11, okay thank you because my daughter was born this morning and her lungs aren't fully developed so she is in the NICU

my boyfriend was born 2 months early only had one lung. his other lung developed when he got to be in I think 4 or 6th grade I can't remember. but he's is perfectly fine
