Lately I've been having these sharp pains in my lower abdomen and my vagina

ligament pains feel like sharp stabbing pains. with contractions you feel your entire belly get hard and it'll stay that way for several seconds to a minute and then relax. you might have period type cramps with it but not usually with Braxton hicks.
