Why do women think it's okay to put other women down for not breastfeeding? You ever think maybe we tried to breastfeed & were unable to for whatever reason, & we don't already feel somewhat like a failure for it? Quit trying to put others down.
Can we lift each other up as women?! With all this nonsense going on i think it’s time we left each other Mother’s up instead of tearing them down!! So what’s one nice thing u can say about another person on this app? I have 2 friends that i talk to outside this app and I think they are both wonderful mothers and people in general. I won’t name names cause they know who they are. So now u all go!! I think we need this tonight!!!
since bb is shutting down I think we should make a private facebook page so we can still follow everyones journey and help each other! This is so sad that they are shutting down
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I'm not trying to shame people but I get that breast feeding is better but there are some women that can't because of certain reasons and women who put down other women for not breast feeding is very despicable just like people who put down women for breasts feeding so stop shaming other moms for their choices!
Opinions!! We are putting the house on the market soon and my realtor thinks we need to upgrade to granite. Only problem is, for a kitchen this size, the cheapest quote I got was $3,800. Everyone is telling me not to do it, they don't think there is a good enough ROI. What do you think?

With my second son I had such a bad infection I had red lines throughout my breast my nipples were cracked and bleeding and my boobs were rock hard and I ran 102 fever and had my other son that just turn 2 at the time everyone around me made me feel so bad cause I stopped I remember calling the nurse telling her how much pain I was in she like "may I ask why you aren't willing to breast feed anymore?" I literally started crying and at the hospital I just wanted to have few hours of sleep because not only did I just give birth I had to go home to take care my 2 year old and my new born when I was to go home so I just wanted some rest the nurses told me I wasn't allowed to put my son in the Nursery because I had to breast feed I started crying so much I feel like they push it on us and it's not right it our choice and all my cousins and my brothers and sisters and weren't breast fed and we are all smart and healthy

I think you're supposed to start wearing them to bed at 37 weeks at least that's when I'm going to start. @Kimberlyyyy

I've never heard of them @kate_magalina, I know the shields would have worked if I had produced enough. I'll have to look into shells.

@Kimberlyyyy, have you tried nipple shells? It's supposed to help make your nipple stick out the "right" way.

Exactly. I chose to supplement my daughter for the same reason, and after talking to a lactation consultant it turns out that I didn't physically have milk ducts. It doesn't make us less of a mother. What would have made us less of a mother would have been choosing to starve them just so we could try to breastfeed because "breast is best". No. My child eating is best.

I had invented nipples, my son wouldn't latch on (even with nipple shields), I wasn't producing && he was born a 5 pound baby and lost 10oz within the first 3 days of life. I saw the lactation nurse twice and nothing helped. I even pumped. so on day 3 of life I started supplementing. As I've learned from experience, it doesn't really matter as much as you're feeding your child && you're doing what you can to keep them healthy.
