I feel some type of way that Gias other grandma never even called to say congrats or even check on baby since she been born n I'm supposed to take my new baby to see her like all my friends n Fam have come to see her . Her dad think we gone be driving her around to see his friends n mom Ummm no! He can take her when she's six months because that's about the age I would feel comfortable with her going anywhere without me. Am I wrong like his family is not close but they don't show emotion n affection I'm not super mushy neither is my fan but when big life events come up we make sure we show our support I just hope their distant anti family ways don't rub off one baby.

I was just speaking on my husbands side of the family last night. I know exactly how you feel. His side of the fsmily doesn't even make an effert to see my son at all and he's one now. So I stop going to see them. & our second son will arrive next month and they don't even bother to ask how my pregnancy and the baby are doing. It works both ways. If they know where you live they should be making as much effet into seeing your baby. If not then hey it's there loss.

Right his mom only has sons so that's his excuse she's a sons mom she's not girly blah blah blah he's always kept his friends and family separate so I guess I shouldn't be surprised I only met his mom two weeks before my baby shower and we were together for over 3 years smh but I had to go out my way with my first dtr n her other side until I got tired but I'm not doing that again @jackee856
No I understand because if no one was calling and checking on me and my child I wouldn't be taking her to see them either.
