My doc does it at 38 weeks

I think they do it after 36. If they check too often I heard that could potentially send you into labor. They only check if it's absolutely necessary

mine started at 36 weeks. it didnt hurt tho. depends on your dr. some are just rough. I about killed the l&d nurse the other day when she checked me cause she was a dumbass and hurt me cause she couldnt check my cervix correctly.

Mine tried to check last week on Monday at my appointment, I was 37 weeks that day. I told him no. Lol he's gonna do it tomorrow though, at my 38 week appointment.

My doctor said he's gonna start checking at 38!!

I didn't get checked till my due date. And it is a little uncomfortable but not painful :)

I just had my 36 week check on friday. he did the strep B test, its just a vaginal swab. and checked me, it didnt hurt if your dr is gentle which you should know, if he or she was your gyno before hand. its literally 2 fingers and they see how dilated you may or.may not be.

They started mine I believe at 38 weeks. It's not painful. More like uncomfortable.
