OK so just wondering if anyone else has this issue?
about 2 weeks ago we found out we were having a girl. And we are both very happy about it. Her name will be Eloise which we both love. But every time we talk about it or talk to someone else I just call her our baby not Eloise?
Is this normal? I feel rude not using her name lol. Does it just take some time to get used to?

It helps to have a name but I still call my baby jelly bean in public because I feel weird saying a name and I have yet to see my lo's face

That makes sense. My mom uses her full name when we talk and I know it's my baby but it's weird to hear. I'm thinking tour right and once I see her face it'll be different @dessie0621

When I'm alone in the shower or whatever I say his name otherwise I just say baby or beat or whatever works.

I just say baby or miss thang or little girl lol I hardly ever say her name
