@zamirsmom, @tracynangel it literally looks like a giant booger hah. Could be any color really, green, yellow, white, clear, and can even have some blood in it. My first they stripped my membranes which is cleaning your cervix out to begin labor and then I went home peed at some point during the night and it came out while I was peeing like a big tissue of boogers and had some blood in it. My second never saw my mucous plug because I was induced. But now with baby #3 every so often I'll pee and wipe and there will be clear or white type mucous on the toilet paper or wipe. But it can slowly come out, all fall out, and it can even regain in your cervix over time. When you lose it doesn't always mean you will go into labor.

Yea it did idk for some reason every time I use the bathroom I check to make sure nothing fell out of me or I'm not missing it pass @brooklynnbby

so mine fell out when I was about 37-38 weeks it didn't cause labor at all and when mine came out it literally looked like a big thing of mucus my doctor popped my water at my appointment when I was 39+2 weeks when she was checking for dilation so it definitely didn't cause labor for me some people say it does but I wouldn't use it as a sign of labor some people also have a little bit of blood in the mucus plus I didn't though @zamirsmom @tracynangel did that answer it?

I'm wondering about this mucus plug thing too sounds so gross! What does it look like?

I'm a first time mom so I really don't know what it is. So did yours fall out?. If so did you see it when it fell out?. Or how did yours fall out?. and how long after it fell out did you go in to actual labor?. @mizzmeganmae

I keep trying to ask people about the mucus plug but it maybe to private for certain people
