How do you mummies feel about used baby items..? Personally, with some items, I'm okay with buying used... As long as it's in good condition and isn't worn down or stained.. Why buy new when you can get it almost brand new for half or less of the price...? I love saving money..

only think I care to have new is the car seat. as long as it's clean and from a smoke free home I don't mind a bit.

ALOT of my babys stuff is used. her swing i bought for $20 from a lady and also a boppy l....we got a ton of clothes from girls my bf works with. i totally agree if its still in good condition why not use it.
I'm all for used as long as it's in good condition & no smoke smell (can't seem to ever get it completely out even with washing). why spend so much on stuff they out grow so fast?! just doesn't make sense to me lol
@santistevanmommie, yeah, I ended up getting lucky this time around.. I bought the carseat, then went to a garage sale two weeks later and they had the matching stroller.. So i got it cheaper but still matched.. That doesn't happen often..
@yourmommylovesyou, the only reason I'm not buying the stroller used is because I'm getting it as a set but I would get the stroller used too.

@miasmum, lol I'm the same way, I'll spend about ten mins looking for me and an hour and a half looking for the baby.. lol My husband keeps telling me to stop buying baby stuff, cause we have more than enough, and I tell him that's it, I won't buy anymore.. Then then next time I go, I tell myself I'm just gonna look, then I end up leaving with more.. lol
It was so worth it! Got up to 12 months stocked with pants and snow suits and onesies and fleeces and sweaters!
Me too! but not even for myself anymore lol I go straight to the baby aisle. and I keep telling myself ok that's it nomore! but when you find something that would've been 10-15 bucks at the mall for 75 cents you'd be crazy not to get it!!!!!

I went to a yard sale in the rich neighborhood (as my husband calls it) yesterday and I found a butt load of items that were brand new almost and the lady gave them all to me for 50 dollars, and I'm talking big ticket items like jumpers, high chair, swing and lots more, plus a whole tv box full of newborn to 9 months clothes.. I'm care was packed.. Lol @may24th

At first I always told myself NEVER would I put used clothes on my first baby. but I go to the thrift stores for myself alot and one day started looking at the baby stuff. you'll be surprised how much clothes I found that look brand new!!!! as long as you wash them then I'd say why not?
