Breastfeeding mommas who also pump, how do you do it I'm scared that Mason will have an empty Breast if I start pumping now or later on im scared I'm just always going to have this huge supply.. Alittle confused

@musiowskij they say you should nurse first for 20 minutes on each breast or until baby is full and then pump after to drain what's left in each breast. This helps bring up your supply, and gives you milk to keep for a later time in the fridge or freezer. Just make sure you read how to properly store it.

I usually pump late afternoon and late night in between feelings maybe 30 to an hour before she gets up to eat

Sometimes I even pump one boob while he's feeding on one. First thing in the morning too. That's when I get the most. And I just always freeze it. Unless I have somewhere to go I'll save it as a bottle. Then I usually just feed him on demand. And if he takes a long nap and my boobs start getting sore I'll pump for a good ten minutes five on each side and get about 4oz and just freeze that too.

Best time is 45 minutes after first morning feeding. That's when you'll likely get the most
