how do you get so much milk out ??? I barely get 2oz on a full breast.

@ene123, I get that too. Usually in the morning I can get almost 5oz outta one boob. Then I usually pump again in another three hours and can only get about 2oz from each then. But I also feed every time on demand and you go girl one year that's awesome!!! I'm gana try to keep up once I go back to work. If I can make it my six weeks at least then hell yeah even got a ton frozen.

@ene123 I drink mothers milk tea and lots of water ! And I try to feed every three hours when she tries to eat again after only like an hour I try to hold her off lol and tbh sometimes I let her sleep longer than 3hours so I'll just pump when she sleep n when she wakes up I'll give her the boob lol

@meganc, you can do it I have to go back to work too in June so mid may I'm gonna be on a pumping frenzy so I'll have enough for her and I'll be pumping at work too!

how long do you pump for @meganc ? I do 10-15 mins lol I can't stand being on the machine longer I usually have to pump 3-4 times to get 4 oz I'm just glad I only work 2 days or I wouldn't be able to keep up.

@ginag918 maybe I don't drink enough water I heard of some pills that are suppose to double your milk supply too but tea sounds more natural I might give it a try. yeah my baby is over 2 months old and she still wants to feed every hour but I can't hold her off shell start screaming like she hasn't eaten in days lol she also does not take any naps whatsoever. my baby is just weird :(

Lol Awww not to brag my baby is 10 days old n she sleeps perfectly n rarely cries she sleeps a good 2/3 hours straight after every feeding. I pump until I can't take it so like 15/30 mins I try to get at least 2oz from each boob but if I'm not hurting I'll sit and try to fill them up lol @ene123 @meganc I feel like the tea really works I got it at Walmart it's like 5 bucks

@ene123, @ginag918 so here's my story. I only pump like twice a day and that's because my son is usually on my boob constantly. I drank mothers milk tea for a week and it helped me sooo much. I also drink nothing but water because Water is supposed to help. I pump first thing in the morning and that's because my boobs are super full and huge because he has only ate twice through the night he's a good sleeper as well. Then during one of his naps I'll pump again. I usually only pump for about five minutes each boob and get that much. Honestly I even feed him one boob while pumping the other. Cause the one I'm not feeding him leaks like crazy and I'm not down to loose a drop. You also have to eat every three hours as well cause breast feeding burns tons of calories and if you don't keep up eating you won't have anything to produce.

My son is almost three weeks old too. Pump every three if you can, and always feed on demand. Your milk will start coming more thinking you got a super hungry baby.

I definitely do not eat much with her eating every hour I only have so much time for me. its either shower or food or laundry or her bath... I also do not keep a very healthy diet. even when she hasnt eaten alot during the nights i wake up and pump barely getting 2oz if I could make as much as you pumping once a day it will be enough 😭 maybe its the water intake, some days I only drink one bottle. thank you @meganc I thought what i was going through was normal but now I know I could be doing a lot better. maybe my baby won't need to nurse every hour also once I start using the tea and drinking more water hopefully she can get all she needs for a while in one feeding ! thank you guys ❤

@meganc, I def need to eat more my boobs don't leak but one boob has a sore trying to heal because of course at first I had no idea what I was doing so she chewed it up she doesn't like sucking that one I don't blame her there is a sore on it eww so I pump it but it is always an oz or two less than my other boob. I try to just pump that one so it can heal and the milk can come out easy

@ginag918, pump while she's feeding on the other one always seems to make your milk flow evenly cause no way of telling which boob she's actually on
