Hey fellow moms, got a question. Any mothers currently or used to have nipple piercings? I really really only want to exclusively breastfeed but I am so worried with my piercings (which I plan to remove) being a problem. I would hate that I am not able to produce milk or breastfeed for my little girl. any ladies have that problem or am I just worrying for nothing?

I had this same question lol. I just now took mine out when I hit 34 weeks. They don't close at all! I wanted to breastfeed but the fact there are extra holes you will leak cause colostrum comes pouring out of me every single day and it is bothersome
So if you keep them or not you will still be able to breast feed don't worry mama!
I took mine out when I was like 10 weeks now im about to be 28 and they still aren't completely closed.
You can keep them in if you can stand them and you will still be able to breastfeed, just take them out when you are breastfeeding.
So if they close up before I give birth (in September) will it be normal? (Which I rather have extra holes with milk than no milk at all haha) I just would hate to have to use formula or another form of milk because my piercings got in the way. @brightsunsett
It won't affect your milk at all, but you will squirt out the holes in your nips lol I had them at the beginning of my pregnancy and had to take them out.. They were so uncomfortable
Oh wow okay. I guess I might just keep them in and just deal with taking them in and out. I just made it to 22 weeks yesterday. Good to know. I am glad they won't be a true problem!
