This picture truly brings me so much joy, I wish I could of been the first to hold her in my arms the second she was born, or see my DF cut the umbilical cord, or even hear her first cry. But I couldn't the sad reality of it all was that I was rushed into that very bright room and layed on a flat hard bed to get an emergency C-Section. I remember screaming from the top of my lungs "I feel the knife cutting me open", and that was the last of what I remember, I completley blacked out for hours after that, it breaks my heart knowing I couldn't expierence one of those amazing labors where all your close relatives surround you in tears because you just gave birth to a precious little miracle .. it wasnt until almost 6 hours later that I got to see my precious daughter. After having my body was sliced open and waking up from all the drugs I was given. Although that is my reality I'm beyond blessed this amazing man was right by my side the entire time, I wasnt able to witness my daughters First anything, but he did and I couldn't of chosen a better father for my princess ❤
That happen to me...I had an emergency c section as well and they are totally different from a regular c section. Emergency c section are when you or the baby or sometimes both have the risk of dying. I know that ifci wouldn't of went to the hospital that Monday February 5, 2007 I would of died that night in my sleep from the pressure she was putting on my liver. Every c section situation is different.
wow that's crazy! I was awake the whole time while I had my C section, my fiancé was also in the room &was; recording my baby from the moment she came out crying n eyes wide open. I was crying when I heard her cry because she was only 24 weeks and so many doctors told me so many different things. I felt no medications that they claimed they gave me, just straight pain! I was up until 7 am the next morning and didn't go to sleep until 8 after constant explaining to them of what drug would work for me ! I just had to wait until the spinal block wore off because I couldn't move a nerve down below, so once my toes, then legs, then waist could move... I went to see my baby.
congrats on your baby i know exactly what your going through my first son was born under an emergency c section as well they started coming me open and I felt it and they put me out I was out for 6 1\2 hours because my body was exhausted from 36 hours of labor and massive blood loss but he's a born a.healthy big boy lol
I feel you I was put down when I had my daughter and it sucked her dad couldn't be in the room but as soon as she was born he was able to see her as for me I had to wait a whole day till the drugs wore off. They took me like to see her after my c section but I couldn't see her my vision was burry. But when I saw her I fell in love. Congrats .
