So my hubby and I have been trying to eat healthy and keep exercising . I have been excercising since I found out i was pregnant but now ive slowed down. We now joined a gym and I have been going every other day to walk for 30mins and doing some light weights. I feel good after usually at 37 weeks. But the thing that kinda bothers me is that I get alot of stops and stares. It makes me feel like they are judgeing me and like i shouldnt be working out. Have any moms experienced this? I thought i was doing good by working out my whole pregnancy :/ Any thoughts?

I do 3 miles and 30-40 min of weight lifting 5 days a week. A lot of ppl are under the old school mentality that pregnant women should just sit around on the couch all day lol. exercising is one of the best things u can do for urself and ur baby. As previously stated, it will make delivery and recovery easier, as well as getting back to ur pre-preg body. Keep it up mama. U probly work out more than a lot of ppl u know anyway who aren't pregnant lol I know I do!

I walked everyday 7 miles before I was pregnant still walked up in till I got clumsy. But I would get a lot of stares too. people are so old fashioned the doctors tell you working out makes for another easy delivery. and helps keep you and the baby at a healthy weight. I wished I kept walking and working out I think that's y my delivery was difficult

its good to work out during your pregnancy as long as its not too much. My boyfriend and I went to the Y to workout and when I was 38 weeks. Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you have to be a couch potato.
