So I'm a FTM not due til Oct 23rd. The child's father aka "donor" told me to have an abortion. Obviously I would never do that. He is getting married the same month I'm due. I had to tell his family because now he is denying it's his because him & fiance are having trouble conceiving. Now he claims he wants to be in the baby's life and the baby to have his last name. But he said I can't have his contact info. I'm almost 15 weeks. I've had to block him and his entire family from causing so much drama. I have no intention of giving the baby his last name or putting his name on the birth certificate. I don't care if doesn't care about me but he wanted to kill a baby then denys it. He hasn't even asked me if the baby was fine or anything. Am I wrong for not having him in my child's life.

you have a right not to and the only way he can change that is a DNA test. If his name isn't on the birth certificate he has no rights until a court ordered DNA test shows he is the father. I do have a question though. Did you go to a sperm bank or what? I'm confused on that sorry :(

I'm kind of in your shoes. My donor told me if I can't give him money when he needs it then I don't need to ask him to be in my babies life. He dropped me off at an abortion clinic several times refusing to take me home unless I got it done

does anyone know if you don't list them on the birth certificate and the dna test is done he still has no rights until we would go to court?

I'm 36. Due to complications i might get induced next week. All alone in the delivery room. But I've been alone my entire pregNncy. Because of the circumstances my mother stopped talking to me because she heard he was being an asshole

@dessie0621, that's awful I'm sorry. But the people who are gonna miss out ate the ones that aren't there. I'm sure as soon as you hold and see that baby you're gonna be so happy. Are you allowed to have friends with you.
