@jackee856, I was feeling the worst ever. Recovery is painful & hard when u have a newborn. Plus I was so upset that I didn't get to bond with my baby right when he was born. It's heartbreaking to me but he's a healthy boy here now I am so happy about that just need to get better for him and I don't have patience for that I want to be better now so I can be my best for him. Hope ur okay! Poor thang I know u been suffering a while I really hope ur like in labor now hehhe best of luck to you okay :)

I thought I had the confidence and no fear and all ready! And I've been working on it....but I realized if I still had one fear the process isn't complete. I had fear of c-section! And it's all different once ur in the hot seat! For me too it was clearly easier said than done! Everything I was afraid of or thought of should happen it all happened opposite for now. And I making my peace with it now. Also about the visitors @jstrong12712 we had same plans but now that I've been going they this for this long I need some support my hubs is worn out too. Staying in touch with friends and family through out this process has helped a lot! Xo girls thank you again 💞

@princesswasiq yeah I guess I hurt my moms feelings when I told her no because she assumed she would be in there since my other siblings let her and she's seen all 6 of her other grand babies born but I stood my ground and told her to basically suck it up because this birth is about me, my baby, and the father, not her and this is what we want and she shouldn't make us feel bad about it.

Exactly that's what I want. But I don't want to hurt my mom because I'm her only daughter out of 9 children and she wants to see me give birth but I'm just not comfy. @jstrong12712

yeah I told my mom and everyone that no one is to wait in the waiting room, and no one besides my boyfriend and I in the delivery room because we don't want the pressure of everyone waiting, and wanting to barge in and sew her. we also told them that we want no visitors in the hospital, that everyone will have to wait till we come home to see her because we want to take the hospital time as bonding time.

Lol yeah I give up on people being there in the room once I do go because I feel like they will slow down the process and only piss me off more @jstrong12712

@princesswasiq I know the feeling! my mom messages me EVERY morning and night basically asking if I'm in labor yet! if I was the whole world would know lol

Me too I'm stuck at 1cm since Friday and I'm having contractions but not even enough. Monday is my due date also. I think I just need to stop stressing out. I feel like the women in my family are pressuring me to much. I just want some peace. @jstrong12712

@princesswasiq same here, except I'm not in the hospital. I was at 2cm dilated and 70% effaced last week, and my due date is on Monday, the doctor told me last week she thought she'd be here before this Thursday, sadly, I don't see that happening... ha

It is common for dilation to halt for long periods of labor but also, some factors that can cause it is fear, and stress. So maybe try to relax. There's a Tedtalks with Ina May Gaskin about Fear of Birth, you should watch it on YouTube!
