I am a FTM and 26 weeks pregnant. I was put on disability in March until September (6weeks after baby is due) due to complications. I found out that come July my job will no longer be able to hold my job for me and I will be laid off. I have been debating on wether or not to think about possibly being a SAHM for a while longer than anticipated because I want the time with the baby and I'm worried about leaving her so soon but I am also nervous because we are barely affording the bills now. What does everyone think?

have you asked for a specific reason why they can't hold your job? have you applied for your disability through FMLA

Find people around your area that need a baby sitter, or pet sitter, stuff you can do at home. Then you can spend time with the little one and get paid.

@tae23, unfortunately it won't be until July I will have been at my job a year so I never qualified for FMLA. All they gave me was 4 months of unpaid disability and once that runs out they said there's nothing they can do. @jennyleigh I have tried but it seems like everyone in the area is either too scared to leave their kid with a sitter or they have huge families or stay home and most people don't use pet sitters they just leave them at the house with enough food and water to last or have family who checks 😔
