I need some advice. I was on depo and got off of that last year and then went on the pill which was the brand Ocella. I'm with my boyfriend and decided to stop the pill. I stopped it last year in September and had no period until December when I decided to take it again to see if it would help. I recently got off of the birth control again, I am late on my period but every test says negative. I am really afraid I'm infertile :( we always do it unprotected and nothing. Has this happened to anyone else that has come off birth control? And when is a good time to see your doctor about it?

It took me almost a year and half to get pregnant after getting off the depo.
you're welcome download the app my days with the flower it will keep track of ur period and when u are fertile
I was the same way and finally decided to give up and stop trying and literally the week I decided I was done trying I got pregnant (: i was on the depo for 2 years as well. I think it just takes your body longer to adjust back to normal after going so long without a period. good luck and try not to stress yourself over it ! (:

well just give it some time but you shouldn't worry about being fertile.. your body must be adjusting to not having a birth control anymore @sassytay
I was on the depo for 2yrs and I stop in February of last year me and my husband been trying be I was getting pregnant I guess the depo was still in my system after I got on some antibiotics a week or two I got pregnant @legacy
no thats exactly how i felt. it took me a whole year to get prego after the depo nd then i switched to the pill and got off of the pill. but if your scared talk to a doctor i did and then a year later got a baby now
umm you're probably Not infertile... I got on depo in 08 and got off in Apr 09 and didn't have periods at all... I got pregnant in end of Aug 09 and didn't,know til Jan 10 because I didn't have reg periods so I just didn't think anything of it....
