I was scheduled to be induced right at 40 weeks, march 17th... we went to the hospital and i had a pelvic exam to check if i was dilated. well i wasnt at all but was 50 percent effaced. we went ahead and started the indictment. was going good and started to dilate. they started pitocin (however you spell that) and i started having contractions that. were already pretty painful so i got the epidural. *if you are going to get it, get it before you start having bad contractions, its not as bad.* i took a nap, woke up and was dilated 9 cm and my body was making me push. the doctors decided to go ahead and try to push since my body was naturally doing it but her head started to swell and heart rate dropping. so after 20 hours of labor total, i ended up getting a c section. i really wanted a natural birth but i would trade it for anything. but let me tell you, recovery after c section..... horrible and not anything fun. BUT like i said . i wouldn't trade it for anything. i love my baby girl!

I hope so ha I know I was extremely Pisses off especially since my contractions were 2 minutes apart!

Yeah ha after they sent me home I returned in 30 minutes my bf carrying me in cause I could barley walk I was in so much pain and I was almost dilated to a 7
@elismom, i was dilated to a 4 when i got mine which is the bare minimum to get it. thank goodness. i knew if i didnt get it then the pain would get worse. lol.
I got my epideral when I was dilated to 6 and 100% effaced. I tried getting it when I first went in when I was dilated to a 2 and 100% effaced but I wasn't dilated far enough so I was sent home. I wish I could have gotten it then cause my contractions hurt so badly even at a 2. but like you said definitely wouldn't change it :)
I had a c section no choice I'm small and my son was pretty big and yes the recovery is horrible.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
