Does anyone have any tips as to how I can pump more than 1-2 oz at a time? I'm trying to get milk stored up for when I go back to work but I'm only pumping very small amounts and it's frustrating.

I wasn't able to produce enough, buuuut I do hear the more you pump the more you'll get eventually. It's like supply & demand. Also they make lactation cookies- I didn't know about them when I had my son but I plan on trying them for this little one. I hear it's really important to keep extra hydrated && that it helps milk production. Wish I could help you with some good advice but that's all i know since inw sable able to breastfeed very long.

It's a supply and demand system so your body produces what your body thinks it needs. When my son was in the nicu they had me pump every 3 hours for half an hour for each side now my body is producing 2 1/2 ounces each side. My son is out of nicu and I nurse one side and pump the other
